WHAT WE DO
We care about attention and seek social solutions for a good life (in cities, institutions, organizations, neighborhoods, public policies) in the digital reality.
We link knowledge with practice.
We write, design, and share knowledge and practices that enable a better understanding of technology in the context of widespread digital transformation and its impact on mental health and the quality of social relationships.
We conduct research and organize workshops, lectures, and seminars that provide the tools needed to live a good life in an era of pervasive automation of thought processes, writing styles, and self-expression.
We work with various groups of people in terms of social background, age, and competence. We conduct educational activities using knowledge from various fields of sciences, philosophy, literature, and socio-cultural animation.
We counteract distraction (overstimulation) by disseminating interdisciplinary knowledge about attention in its cognitive and social dimensions. We also describe the mechanisms of capturing attention in the digital environment.
We create new concepts and reinterpret old ones, combining culture with science as well as knowledge of literature with a critical approach to technology.
We provide advice and consultation, but above all, we cooperate with institutions interested in running comprehensive programs (educational, cultural, social) that increase the emancipatory potential of new technologies and reduce their toxic effects.
