Anna Cieplak
Chair of the Board
Writer, cultural animator, educator, screenwriter. She worked as a social projects expert and was the initiator of the Lidia Ostałowska School of Reportage for Young People. Between 2009 and 2018, she coordinated cultural, educational, and research projects at the Political Critique Club in Cieszyn. She is the author of novels including Ma być czysto [It Must Be Clean], Rozpływaj się [Melt Away], and Ciało huty [The Body of the Steelworks]. She is a winner of the Conrad Award, the Witold Gombrowicz Literary Award, and the Albrecht Lempp Award-Scholarship, and has been nominated twice for the Nike Literary Award. She is a member of the Każda Jest Ważna (Every Woman Matters) group and an academic teacher at the University of Silesia in Katowice.

Michał Krzykawski
Vice Chair of the Board
Philosopher and researcher at the University of Silesia in Katowice, where he heads the Center for Critical Technology Studies. Author and co-author of numerous works on contemporary French philosophy, philosophy of technology, and social philosophy, as well as interdisciplinary works: Bifurcate: There Is No Alternative(edited by Bernard Stiegler and the Internation Collective) Gospodarka i entropia. Jak wyjść polikryzysu? [Economy and Entropy. How to Get Out of the Polycrisis?] (work co-edited with Jerzy Hausner).

Justyna Suchecka-Jadczak
Chair of the Foundation Council
Educational journalist, writer, friend of young people, and ally of teachers. Winner of the Ryszard Czernecki Award and Grand Press Award. Author of the books Nie powiem ci, że wszystko będzie dobrze [I Won't Tell You Everything Will Be Okay], Young Power. 30 historii o tym, jak młodzi zmieniają świat [Young Power. 30 Stories About How Young People Are Changing the World], and Pokolenie zmiany. Młodzi o sobie i świecie, który nadejdzie [The Generation of Change: Young People About Themselves and the World to Come].

Adrian Chorębała
Member of the Foundation Council
Curator, manager of the Academy of Fine Arts Gallery in Katowice, “Rondo Sztuki,” organizer of music exhibitions and cultural events, animator of grassroots literary meetings in Upper Silesia.

Karolina Lebek
Member of the Foundation Council
English philologist, literary scholar, and assistant professor at the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Silesia in Katowice. She focuses on environmental humanities in the context of weird fiction.

Katarzyna Janota
Member of the Foundation Council
Designer, lecturer, co-founder of Grupa Robocza. She works with large and small organizations from various industries. She lectures at the Warsaw School of Economics, AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, and SWPS University in Katowice and Sopot. Her interests include experimental literature, life-centered design, and digital ecologies.

Przemysław Wielgosz

Journalist, columnist, editor-in-chief of the Polish edition of the monthly magazine “Le Monde diplomatique”, curator of a cycle of discussions and editor of the publishing series Ludowa historia Polski [The People’s History of Poland]. Author of books, including Witajcie w cięższych czasach [Welcome to Harder Times] and Gry w rasy [Games of Race], for which he was nominated for the Nike Literary Award
